Privacy policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data DATAWHISKERS LTD ("Datawhiskers", "we") collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17282375), with our registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF. For this website, we are the controller of your personal data.
What this website collects
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so visiting a page doesn't send your data to third parties such as font or analytics providers.
To deliver pages, our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), necessarily processes technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We don't currently store website access logs. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
When you contact us
If you email us, for example to book a demo, we use your name, email address, company and the content of your message to reply and to arrange the conversation you asked for. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep this correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer, in which case our customer agreement applies.
Our platform
Businesses use the Datawhiskers platform to measure their marketing. When they do, we process data about their website visitors and customers on their behalf, as a processor, under a data processing agreement. The business you shopped with is the controller of that data, and its privacy notice explains how it is used. Datawhiskers doesn't sell personal data or use it for its own advertising.
Who we share data with
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website and our platform, in the EU (Ireland).
- Microsoft 365 provides our email.
These providers act on our instructions. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, or to transfer it to you or another organisation. Email info@datawhiskers.ai and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
